Lots of dogs are chewers and making sure your dog has something safe to chew on is essential, that is if you want to keep them from chewing on your things like furniture, shoes, etc. Especially if you happen to be fond of large breeds like myself. Labrador retriever puppies put everything in their mouths so a little supervised selection in items to chew is needed. All of these makers use some form of latex in their indestructible dog toys as the rubber toys hold up longest. No plush toy has ever survived my chewers.
Top of my list for three generations of Lab pups is the Kong brand of dog toys. I have actually had one Kong original through all of them. The original Kong toy line is different shaped rubber toys some with hollow crevices where treats or peanut butter can be placed for some added challenge.
